Plans for next year:"For the next 2 years I will be serving a mission for the Chiesa Di Gesu Cristo Dei Santi Delgi Ultimi Giorni (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) in Rome, Italy." Favorite thing about Cross Country:"My favorite thing about cross country was the opportunity to push myself, physically, mentally and emotionally. I learned how to work hard, and how to not give up when the going gets tough. I am not built like a runner. At all. In fact, I'm sure that the coaches thought that I went to the wrong practice for the first couple of days." Lessons learned:"The lessons I learned in cross country have served me in school, at work, and on my mission, now. Learning Italian was one of the hardest things that I have done, and it continues to be so. But, I learned during my time in cross country to never give up. Even if you're not first. Even if you are last. You never give up. Thank you cross country for teaching me so much."
